Ingredients:
200 grams dark chocolate
100 grams butter
3 eggs
200 grams granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
120 grams flour
30 grams cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
100 grams walnuts (optional)
1 tsp baking powder
Instructions:
Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking pan (about 20x20 cm) and line the bottom with parchment paper.
Melt Chocolate and Butter: Melt the dark chocolate and butter together using a double boiler method. Once the mixture is smooth, remove from heat and let it cool a bit.
Egg and Sugar Mixture: Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with the granulated sugar using a mixer for 3-4 minutes until the mixture becomes lighter and fluffy.
Add Vanilla: Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
Add Chocolate Mixture: Pour the melted chocolate and butter mixture into the egg and sugar mixture, stirring until well combined.
Add Dry Ingredients: Sift the flour, cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder into the mixture. Stir with a spatula until the batter is smooth and well-mixed.
Add Walnuts (Optional): Chop the walnuts and add them to the batter. You can also use other nuts if you prefer.
Pour the Batter into the Pan: Pour the prepared batter into the greased baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. The center of the brownie should remain slightly soft because it will firm up as it cools.
Cool and Slice: Let the brownie cool for a bit after baking. Once cooled, slice it into squares and serve.
